Terry- yeah! I love me some Hog! I know what you mean aboutthe ghetto yacht club.

Bayou-My dad has a guy he uses up there, Duke's Marine I believe, small shop. He's installing a windlass, tune-up, hope that goes well. Also having someone do new eisenglass and cushions. Thinking about paint on hull and topside if enough money is left. Down to the fibergalss in some spots in the cockpit but not horrible. Just making sure everything is functional and safe before I move onto any aesthetic stuff.

There are a couple gauges that need to be replaced and then new electronics needed down the line.

Sweet, Nate!

We have the Gift of Seafari in common. My Grandfather left me his when he passed.

They are great boats. Enjoy!

I am also interested in your performance with the outboard. Looking forward to your numbers, when you get to it.

Brandon

I know Duke's! Two doors down from High and Dry Boatworks! Kurt does some cool Whaler stuff, and has done work for me. Always interesting projects going on in that industrial park. Ended up using pipe bender in there for a mini leaning post, and a local outsourced upholstery work, on a BW 15 Sport I've been working on Forever. My second one.

They are two hours north of me (Hilton Head Isl.). If you need me to bring her down I think my truck may do it.

Michael.

Ha! That's cool. The pics my dad sent me of some of the work Duke's has done were of Whalers so it's definitely the same place. Looks like we are going to have the hull and topside redone so timeframe has been stretched out towards end of June. I may take you up on transport depending on how my buddy's schedule matches up with finish date. How much would you charge?

Seafari25- You're right, they are great boats. We've had many spearing/fishing/relaxing adventures in this one and look forward to more.

Your's looks great! I like that full Bimini a lot.

Talked to my friend that used to own a very similar boat. His was white too, sold to somebody up near Tarpon Springs/Ozona. I'll send him a link on this.

I live 1.1 mile from Duke's Marine and High and Dry. That's also the same little industrial complex where Freeman cats are built.
