The only downer I see is the steps would make mounting transducers for reading at speed almost impossible. Would be interesting to see what her #s were with 400 gals of fuel, 30 steel tanks, gear and 2k lbs of ice.

The transducer reads fine... It's mounted fwd of the transverse steps. She was full of fuel during the first run, close to 400 gallons but really not much else.
