There is quite a few pros to getting the 350. Zero prop slip, traction in seas and 50 more ponies. If it would have been available I would have bought it. They are only about 100lbs heavier so if the bracket has as much displacement as the Hermco double you wouldn't have any problems if the fuel tank is placed to compensate.
Cost to benefit would be my only real concern and that is only based on what your willing to pay. I can tell you the 300 will not leave you wanting in power as I can plane mine loaded for bear in the length of the hull. 98% of the time I cannot even use more than 2/3s the HP due to boat length and sea state limitations. Its unfortunate Suzuki doesn't offer the duo prop drive for the 300. If they did I would wouldn't even consider the 350 but if I was to buy tomorrow I would have to have it just for the drive. Once you operate a boat with it you never forget how sweet it works.

No This isn’t the red one with the top. I got this one in south Florida somewhere, can’t remember exactly. And I decided against the 350 just due to the fact I have a new steering system I already bought for the 300 and would have to go to the tournament for the 350. Just started to get more than I thought it was worth. Got the cap core all glassed in today, gotta glass over the top of it tomorrow. Almost done with all the glassing finally, hopefully be painting next weekend.

Got the cap all cored and glassed in yesterday, flipped it and put it back on today. I sanded it all and am filling some holes tomorrow then will sand those to be ready for paint. I do have to say that after about 60 hours of sanding if anyone says something about an edge or line I’ll have a blow up raft and compass to give them to get to shore!
