Those hatches and boxes are gold! Let me know if the console pick up doesn’t happen. Now that the 27 is present and accounted for, the 23 looks like a Sceptre to SF candidate!

Hahaha....all 3 kids are gone to school for Fall 2021 later this month. The kid nest is empty and the boat yard is filling up quick!! The math on a lower cost 27 rehab would allow for a Mike @ Wildfire SF cap to be dropped on the 23 hull. The 23 would be slick with that new cap!

Default Another Molestation?

Snookerd
Hey Danny, don’t tell me you are going to the dark side. Gonna molest your Sceptre- tell me this isn’t so! Good thing you didn’t pick a name like Jim’s 77Sceptre.

Capt Snookerd!
I seriously played around with the idea of yanking the windshield and putting a small console in my Sceptre, to get to a Savage layout... but I've become hooked on the "dance floor" and lugging "junk in the trunk up front." I decided that adding a console and leaning post would take up and cut up more of the open cockpit space than I'd like. Depending on what we're doing we may use bean bags, folding chairs and table, cart along a kayak or paddleboard, etc. I know the ride's a bit better with a CC, a big plus for hardcore fishing, and I suppose a bit sexier looking, but I decided to let the old girl be - it works pretty darn well for us as is.

Making any headway on the 27?
