![]() I know how you feel, I'm watching too, and taking notes. Just finishing up fairing the transom on mine and ready for primer so I can move onto cutting the deck out.

ok ok good. just wanted to make sure it was worth posting still!!!
I did a little filling and grinding this afternoon, I cleaned the garage with my workers for the last hour of the day as it was a mess. It amazes me how much garbage you produce restoring a boat. anyway I used the pastry bags and took a pc of it to show how they work. by now you know, I get messy with putty and fillers. I am like a little kid! these bags make it much more controllable on how much to apply.

it was also time to put the console back in the boat for some measurements and to get feeling if I was missing anything. I am happy with the way it looks , livewell height along with the console and leaning post fit the profile of the boat.
next up is a little more tabbing, scuppers, and cut some holes for stuff. I am also gonna build a panel in the console to cover the livewell.

got some work done over the weekend
it was time to do the scuppers, decided to go out the side of the of the hull. I used the long pilot bit, to scallop the floor for a drain. I used a 2.5 holesaw bit. once I bottomed out I used the air saw to cut the piece out, I then proceededto core the balsa out from the inside. once that was out I cut and fit mat to the hole and wet out everything around it. once that set I ground the goobers off and back filled the entire hole with dynaglass and smoothed it out. I let that set and drilled a 1 3/8" hole from the outside to center the dynaglass from the first pilot bit. other than that I have just been tabbing and dry fitting everything I can.

well it was time to put the boat on the trailer, so I made a call to a friend with a crane and it made very easy work getting the job done.
