picked up a nice dog house for the boat yesterday, its in great shape and only needs a few mods to make it right. Im going to raise it about 6 inches and make a new dash so i can fit a 12inch screen in it. also was thinking about cutting the right side open with a hinge on it so i could fight a fish and get to the wheel/controls easier, what you guys think?

I'm jealous. I want one of those for my 23' bad! I would be willing to trade my new T-top for something like that.

Great looking dog house. Not quit kernel tug, but in the same league.

For making mods to dog house (i.e. new dash) one technique I plan to use is to stitch and glue with ply and glass; wood screws or zip ties to brace until you get your glass on and can back them/cut them out.

This guy (Edward_Anderson) does a lot of custom fabrication of structures (poly/glass over ply) and says he uses a glue gun (lots of glue) to hold the ply forms together before the glass/ploy go on:

you can prob build one for less than 3-400. I used west systems and expensive wood to make the window frames on mine but you can certainly do it cheap with poly resin and lexan for the windows

i built 2 of them last winter and they probaly cost me about 500 each but theres alot of sanding fairing sanding fairing, O and lots of time to. but it just depends on how picky you want to get with it for the end cost results.

I think I will run mine with the t-top this season and start the process of building the Pilot house on the weekends that I can't fish. If any of you Cape Cod guys come accross one for sale or some one wanting to trade one for a t-top please let me know.
