Default Re: brand new question

Far as I know, the hulls are identical, just the tops and innner liner are different.

As a (former)serious tank diving spearo that worked his seafari way way offshore, I'd vote for a seafari configuration over a CC as a dive boat, any day. windshield, much better storage and weight distribution, no cc in the way. The seafari is much superior to the septre for that use because the steering station is farther aft, a much more comfortable ride in big chop. If it is a seafari, you are golden, put a windshield back on, tank racks forward. and go. If you are worried about ride comfort, scuba tanks forward and extra weight of diving gear means the boat can go through most anything.

thank you. thats good to know about the hulls being identical. the reason i want a CC is because i fish also so i need something versitile. i dont mind the CC in the way because i have 3 more feet of boat to work with. so its a trade-off.

just need to get some time to get home and get pics of the motor im parting out on craigslist and then i can start looking at the transom.

its 1:00 a.m. and im still up looking at repairs and mods.

well i was debating on parting out the motor but i decided to just get rid of it. i had no trouble at all selling the motor off the back of my boat on craigslist. i probably let it go too cheap but thats ok...
