Good luck with that... right. We had a fun day on the Right Hook. Mike is fun to fish with. I think I missed more hits in any one day of my life today. I will now crawl under the carpet. Humble GFS. Really upset...still.

Well after terminating and butt splicing and laying on my back for a couple of hours I got bored...
Laid the first part of my "Boot" stripe to see how it will look. Basically the painter (ease of layout) cut the blue and white at the hard chine. I just brought up the white 1/4" to give the color a pronounced separation. The next stripe will be up by the water line. Still deciding how wide. BEFORE, AFTER, very Subtle Need to get some more terminals and wire so the wiring end can be completed...

Always Something
Not much progress for the last three weeks (on a road trip). So now it is time to button this up.
In my post #357 when I was installing the head, I needed to install a shut off valve on the thru hull fittings for the head. One was real easy and the other was a real PIA. The problem was that in order to close the valve I had to reach under the floor. This is where the challenge began. It was hard to get my hand around the lever to force the valve close and to get leverage. There was not enough room as the pictures will show. So the solution was to make a paddle out of the lever and now everything works very smooth. Valve without Lever under the head.  Orignal Lever  Solution Paddle Lever   Open Position  Closed  I think Strick once said if it was easy everyone would have a Seacraft

Dash Wiring
Well after spending countless hours on my back in weird positions. Terminating at least 40 wires then heat shrinking them, labeling now I can finally say that the dash is 95% wired (you can never say 100% cause you will add something sometime
)Stuff all over the place.  Behind Dash  Switches wire and labeled. I let the natural torque of the wire load level the body of the switch to where it wanted to sit. Since you can't normally see it, who cares if they are not equal.  Fuse box with and without cover.   Dash and Switch Panel   Now to drill another hole in the bottom and install my transducer and run one more wire to the front...  Everybody out there enjoy the holiday...Happy 4TH!
