GORGOUS !

I think that must ride even better then the normal 23's with that heavy iron right in the middle of the boat.

I had that Yanmar in my Fortier 26 (mine was a 4LH-STE 230 HP) and it was a very reliable and economical engine. With your numbers your getting upwards of 3.5 NMPG.

My next project will be something similar. Your lucky BTW you got that Yanmar becuase they no longer make mechanical diesels, replacing them with the electronic diesels.

Don-Ouch, that's going to leave a mark . Don't you have family in the biz down here near St. Pete?? Hopefully I can entice you down here with the promise of $$$ and adult beverages to get a top put together. My low bridge makes the break-away t-top a requirement. I can only afford a bimini right now........

RalphD-
I'm in the process of finishing my 23' Savage - 230 Yanmar.
What kind of price tag on the prop? Are you happy with the props performance? Pretty sure I will be using the same size...

Thanks everybody. I had some real good people working on this boat. I would highly recommend them all.

I know one thing, for all those that did it all by themselves, I can't give you enough credit for your determination and persistence.

SCSavage, the prop was a little under $1,000. That included the initial prop-scan tuning and one pitch/cup adjustment if it is needed.

The performance of the engine, prop, and boat is better than I could have asked for. Although, I only have my previous performance to compare to. It's a totally different boat.

RalphD-
Are you running a 1-1/4" shaft?
Your boat is one of the best SeaCrafts I have ever seen...
