Sorry that didn't solve the problem. At least the fuel supply is out of the equation. One question - did you use your old primer bulb and hose or did a new one come with the portable tank? Just trying to confirm the bulb is not the problem.
At least now you don't have to worry about opening the coffin. ![]() O.k., now I'll get out of the way and listen to sage advice from the black motor gurus. Take it away Big, Fr. Frank, Et al.

Bonjour.
If any find themselves in Mtl, you gotta go to Schwartz`s in the old city for the best smoked meat anywhere. Does Merc have a help line? BRP does and they are great even with my old OP. Last edited by gofastsandman; 07-05-2013 at 06:36 PM. |

Well carbs were opened up and they were clean so I lifted the coffin lid to get at the tank. took off the fittings and checked the pickup tube and all ok
I was stumped Took off the clamps to the gas line and here's what I found. Apparently the hose has a plastic liner that when it placed it in the gas fitting it caused the blockage I also think that the primer bulb is bad too.. So new gas lines and primer bulb tomorrow. What junk probably made in China |

Triton A1 line here folks. Alcohol is a very strong solvent. Is that an alcohol resistant liner? Yikes.

Same thing happened to me. Fuel line was not even 2 weeks old. De-lamination due to alcohol. I went black and I'm never going back

I had that happen in my little skiff, I had used the grey type, said it was alcohol resistant - it was not.
