Fr. Frank that was a increadable assessment of the florida coastline The state should pay you for your research! AS for the keys fishing is about as deverse as you can get but if you have to ask how much don't bother(lol)

Fr. Frank,
Is it the Gulf Stream that circles up into the Gulf? I always thought it was the Caribbean loop current. What ever it is, it is something to see when it comes in an clips the 40 break and on the the rare occasion the Middle Grounds. I have been diving the grounds and deeper for going on 20 years and have only seen the blue water in there 3 or 4 times. Very fair assessment of the CR/Cedar Key area. I like to tell people the fishing and diving is terrible to try and keep it to myself...... Since NMFS started to manage reef fish it has really started to come back to the way it was. For a while it was getting pretty bleak for the gag and red grouper fishery.

I have not caught a legal red here in 12 years maybe. Spearos are heavy here.
Lots of lion fish.
Looking to help bugs get on the grill this year.
