Where as our Facebook SeaCraft counterparts consider our "little" group nothing more than a bunch of drunks, we decided it best that we not divulge any and all activities that transpired over the weekend gathering...

Hence what happened at River Palm stays at RP !!

There will be NO PICS or the like...

Sorry for those who could not attend..

We are already planning Homosassa in September...

That’s a little bizarre, no? Anyhoo, opening day Gag Grouper was tough. Perfect weather Friday, so many boats out spent a lot more time running than gunning. Caught a keeper Gag, and one keeper Red, I caught a 23.75” ARS, only to be released. Fished the Seafari Sunday in solid two’s, I caught a 23.75” Gag, only to be released, and another short, but only 13 miles out and 10’.

Anyhoo, Fall Gathering at MacRaes?

Michael.

I think 3 dolphin and 2 BFT.
West wind and dead glass offshore.
Nary a bird sighted all day.
We followed some of the longest rips I`ve ever seen.
One was over 80 minnows in time.

I don't think many pics were taken.
I didn't take any which is a first.
I`m still at war w photosuckit.

Moose made some yummy bft canapés with pineapple and wasabi.
Don fried up some feesh and hushpuppies.
Eric brought tomatoes from their garden in a delightful balsamic marinade.
Best tomatoes I`ve had in over a decade.

The conch fritters were also outstanding.
Too many sides to count.
