I used a rental 2500 Ram with Cummins diesel and got 12.5mpg towing my 23’
(That was towing at speeds 70-74 mph on I-95 on flat ground)

Not too shabby Jim!!! On my old '04 Ford clunker with the 5.4 Titan engine, 3.73 gears with the OD off I get around 9 mpg at 65 mph. Now if I kick it up to 70 mph we go down to 8 mpg. I don't even want to know what happens at 75 mph.
