I learned that the hard way. Here in SC if we buy the package, boat/motor, tax is capped at $500 (I think, used to be $300 for sure). I re-powered 2 years ago and had to pay full sales tax....9%. Ouch!

Have you received pricing on the new Etec 3 cyl 150? I'm realllllllly curious to see what that one is going to sell for. I was sold on the Merc 115 with CT, but this is a real contender now, unless he price is absurd.

Just priced a Suzuki 140 25 inch shaft. $9100 plus rigging

Thanks everyone for helping me make this decision. A special thanks to gofastsandman for talking with me earlier today and helping me make the final decision!

2019 Suzuki 140 on order! Scheduled installation date is July 16th!!!!!
