Default Need to replace original windshield

I picked up last year a 1986 23 outboard. The original windshield is smoked plexi and it is no longer clear enough to see through so I want to replace it. Anyone know where, how or whom to use?

Larry,
Welcome to the site. Do a search on this topic and you'll find a discussion thread that contains the original windshield manufacturer (I can't remember their name). They are still in business and are in Florida, so they may be able to help you out. If not, I would think a local shop dealing in plexi or lexan could make them for you. Good luck.

Larry-

If you have a Taps Plastics in your area they can bend most any plastic to the shape you need. Good Luck

I just ran across this site tonight. They do Acrilic and Lexan Boat windshields.

Hi Larry,
I had one made at Select Plastics in Norwalk Ct.- they did a great job, just what I asked for.You could call them (or e-mail) and probably get a price based on a description, but you would have to send the old one for them to copy (I assume).
I went with the tinted, I'm always looking over the windshield when I'm running anyway.
