Default '72 20' cc fuel setup

Does anyone know if the '72 20' cc came with the fuel tank in the console, or was it under the floor by then? If the latter, is there an access panel for the whole tank or just the sender? Also, anyone with a '72 know the fuel capacity?

Thanks.

Alex I'm not sure about the tank being under the console in 72'. My 74' has it in the floor and yes there is a hatch that comes off and the whole tank is exposed I believe the standard tank had 47 usable gallons in it and some later Master anglers could be had with a 70 gallon tank. I will be replacing mine in the next couple of weeks. Good luck on that boat!
