Default T-top Life Jacket net

I have been looking for a solution for a while of storing life-jackets under my top. I looked at a lot of T-Pak styles, but would not work for me because they were 2 life jackets deep causing clearance problems. Others used cargo nets, with bungees … but I worried about sagging problems. There were a few boats at the shows that had custom nets to store them. I liked them, but my top was slightly different than these CC design.

Anyway, I found someone to make a life-jacket net for my top. Pretty simple to share with you guys. It looks like he fastened a 3/8" vinyl "C" channel to the aft tubing, sewed in a piece of 3/8" tubing into the aft part of the net. Slid them into each other. Then placed 3 "T" type fasteners for quick release on the front of the net to drop the jackets in a hurry.

Here is pic of the simple solution net to storing life jackets under a T-top. Hope this helps others to keep them easily accessible!

BTW: Added a E-box also, not sure what for ... yet ... more on that later for my electronics wiring /layout discussion ...

Nick,
That looks pretty nice.

Have you been doing any codfishing lately? From what I've read, it's pretty hot out there, but the comm season started today so it'll be a zoo from now on.

Looks good Nick.. Nice and clean...I'm going to try the same thing on mine, seeing that the tops are allmost the same.

Scott, i hung up the boat early on the birth of my son ... kids, always in the way .... i decided not to look at fishing reports ... too painful.

My friend "Jimmy the Greek" has been doing well as usual .... still too painful to talk about.

I have transitioned into the usual winter ice hockey .... hacking guys with sticks provides some relief!

Hey Nick-

Who made that net for you? I'd like to get one made for the old Mako.
