Default Help me pick an Awlgrip color!

I am having my 1978 23' resprayed professionally with Awlgrip. The current job was done 6 years ago with Awlgrip 2000 in the Sunfast Red color. I am wondering what color to go with next. Part of me says stay with Red but part of me says go with one of the original SeaCraft colors from the 70's. I seem to remember Red, Federal Yellow and a baby blue.

If you know of more colors available in the 70's please let me know. I am leaning towards the baby blue which Awlgrip calls Sky Blue. If anyone has sprayed their SeaCraft and has an opinion, please chime in! Thanks, Brian
PS If I get the topside sprayed, I may go with oyster white.

I am just about to spray my 20cc and my 23cc in aquamist Awlgrip. That color is awesome! Great photos Strick.

The aquamist kinda looks like an off white on bright sunny days but early morning and evening is when the color really shows. I'm happy with it. Fighting Lady Yellow would have been my next choice like PF Flyer's. Good luck.

thought baout the fighting lady yellow, but I was looking to make the boat stand out from the crowd of regulators up here on LI. I also thought about dark blue... like the flag blue or the next on lighter on the chart. I am buying my materials this week to spray next weekend. I guess it is decision time!

I changed my mind at the last moment! I went with fighting lady yellow for my 20' and flag blue for my 23'. I just hope the dark color of the blue doesn't make the boat look too small. I'll post pics when I'm done spraying. I just talked to jason about posting my two restorations on the site. I just have to get him the cd of my work.
