Taco Outriggers
I have the sportslam bases for the 15' outriggers, and have an issue. One of them swivels back a few notches even when it is not rough out. I have removed it and inspected and all the gease is good everything moves freely and springs back like it should, and the main nut is welded so there is no tightening it. I have thought of swithing them to the opposite sides to give a new notch to lock into but....
Any one have any ideas?

Re: Taco Outriggers
Taco in my opinion has some of the best customer service in the marine industry.Just call them tell them the problem and usually they will have you ship them back for service.I normally get mine back in a weeks time!Good luck Mike

Re: Taco Outriggers
I had the same problem, I sent them in and got them back in a few days. They upgraded me to the new design. The new design has a larger dia. & longer pin and the gaps and teeth in the turret cup are larger and deeper, there are only 12 positions, as opposed to the original 20-24. but most only use 2 positions, 90 degrees out, or back. I sent mine to Mike in Tennessee.
