Default Bracket and Trim Tabs

Im am in the process of restoring a '76 23' sceptre and will be putting an armstrong 6' bracket on the boat with a 250 yamaha. Will i have enough room to mount the trim tabs under the bracket at the edge of the boat? Also, how have you guys modified your boats to self-bail? Did you have to raise the decks from the original height?

I think most folks have had to cut the bracket to allow for mounting the trims tabs. I put a bracket on my boat and took the old Bennets off and installed the Volvo QL tabs. They will fit without a problem.

Good Luck,
BA

I think Fellowship chimed in the other day about a shorter ram made by Bennet. He's our "in - house" tt expert.

A couple of quick notches and my tabs are fine. It is really a pretty small adjustment.
