Default Livewell/Washdown Install - 23' IB

Hey guys,

I'm looking for ideas for possible thru hull location and pump suggestions for a livewell/washdown setup. The boat is an inboard with dual aft tanks on either side of the running gear, so space is extremely limited.

My first option was to put the thru-hull in the starbord stern corner - one of the only accessible sections of the aft bilge. I'd put a small access hatch in the corner of the transom to get back there. One problem is that the pump I wanted to use (Rule 1600 DP) has to be mounted below the water line, and I think it would be just above in that aft corner. Any thoughts on setting something up in that section of the bilge that would let me use the Rule pump? I'd rather not go to a self priming livewell pump, because I don't know of any that would push enough water through a 40 gallon tank.

Open to other location suggestions too, but there really is no space available in the aft section of the bilge.

Cheers,
Mike
