Default Wife's Valentines Day Presents

Since Melissa was so thrilled with the auto pilot I got her last year I decided to get her Garmin's latest 7610 xsv chartplotter/MFD and GMR HDX radar this year. I'm sure there will be candles burning in the bedroom when I get home after she finds that suprize at the door!

So - we had planned to get married in a small ceremony and reception at a beautiful arboretum close by for close friends and family. As the budget started to become clear, I suggested we consider - is this our "Plan A" and the most memories and fun we could possible have on this budget?

Within a day, we completely retooled the whole thing to rent a 4000 sq. ft. home in the St. Lawrence River's 1000 Island region with room for not one, but 2 Classic SeaCrafts. So here's to getting married within sight of both a 23 and a 19 and spending the entire Memorial Day week bombing around one of the most beautiful places on the planet. And it was her idea. Thanks, Anna. Totally keeping you.

At least Janet doesn't call her the stupid boat anymore.

I may name the race boat The Really Stupid Boat. We`ll see how that goes...

GFS, not sure about "The Really Stupid Boat" name for your slacker. Silly people would start adding another word to the end of it....like "owner", "captain" or "driver", ya need to be careful and not give NoBones an opening!! .

It might be a little safer to use something like 'Slacker's Muse' or 'Janet's Nemesis'

I am pretty sure anything about Ken being a hero or Melissa being a rock-star would be bad...
