71 or 70 1/2?
Do I see air under the skinnies? I was a 2 wheel junkie and that was money. 4 wheels is a whole other strata. |

1971, Purchased the car about 20 years ago for $1200. It was a dead stock factory car with a mild 350. The car has seen a lot of changes over the years. Several different motors, the torch and plasma cutter and a few different colors. Me and my dad did all the work ourselves minus the machine work to the block. It has came a long ways. Started driving it down the track at 14. I sold my four-wheeler to buy it after spending several weekends at the track watching. Hope to keep it and pass down to my son as he is into racing as well. He is only 12 and we have started building him one already too.

Nice, very nice . I spent every weekend racing my 62 Chevy 409 at connecticut valley dragway When i was a kid.
Did it just for fun and it was a daily driver.mild cam, some headwork, headers, etc got me into the low to mid twelves on occasion. Man oh man frizz do you live on five hour energy drink or shoot up B12 and caffeine? I don't know how you do it, boat restos, drag racing, boat collections, Do you ever sleep?

Too Many Spark Plugs
Hey Frizzle-
From your posts & your photos it appears you violate the engineering adage from where Bushwacker & I worked years ago. "Never own more than 32 spark plugs total on cars, boats, lawnmower, etc. or you will spend more time fixing than using!" Haha Course that was before platinum plugs and cars needed points, plugs & condenser every 12-15k miles. |
