Default Dimensions on fuel tank for 23 1986

Well I bought a 23 finally didn't smell fuel during the tests ride or anything but after getting home I could smell fuel pretty strong in the bilge so I have a friend that can weld aluminum and I was wondering if anyone knew the dimension or close so I can go ahead and get the materials any help would be appreciated

thinking ABOUT, 28"x12"X ? however long you make it, maybe 6-7 feet..might go all the way to the front stepup.needs baffles, have it professionaly made..... you gotta pull the floor to be sure.
