Finster-
The name of that hotel is SEAVIEW INN (401-846-5000). It is on a hill in Middletown, RI overlooking Easton's pond with the ocean beyond. Nothing fancy....just a place to sleep. I think they have a pool and supposedly PETS are ok. According to YAHOO....price range is $55-300(ouch...!). Give them a call (don't mention Newport Jazz Fest) and see what is available and how much. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to First Beach and a 1 minute drive to Second Beach (the beach near Jason's house). Downtown Newport (shops, docks, boats, bars & drunkeness) is a 2 minute car/taxi ride. |
