Default Va. Seacraft Owners Rockfish Tournament Poll

Hey everyone- I Would like to know if you guys that are planning to fish our tournament again this year would like to compete as a team (if allowed) against all the other local anglers clubs (VB, Norfolk, Tidewater, Portsmouth,)??? I believe its a 3 day tournamanet and benefits Toys For Tots. Im certain it will be a great time. The 2 largest fish per boat will win. (ill give a full rundown of the rules if needed later- Lemme know !!!! (I know Gary you are a P-town anglers club boy but screw em!!!)lol

Default Re: Va. Seacraft Owners Rockfish Tournament Poll

Excerp from another board concerning the rules-

the dates are December 9th,10th and 11th.After meeting with most of the tidewater area club presidents
(TIDEWATER ANGLERS, GREAT BRIDGE,VA BEACH ANGLERS,NORFOLK ANGLERS and The PORTSMOUTH ANGLERS)We have decided to move forward with our plans to add the ROCKFISH CLUB CHALLANGE to the Catchin For Kids Toys for Tots rockfish tournament.
This tournament with in a tournament is a neat way to help promote Toys for Tots and give one of our local clubs bragging rights for the next year.
The rules are pretty simple. Any boat registered in the Cathin For Kids Tournament is already registered in the club challange as long as you belong to one of the local clubs and lets us know at or before the captains meeting. Every boat is encouraged to weight in fish, the heaviest two fish from the top three boats from each club will be awarded 1 point per pound. The club with the most points on Sunday afternoon will be named this years Rockfish champion and will be the first club to hold the trophy for one year.
