Re: Comment on your SeaCraft
Well maybe you have seen my boat in the show us your boats thread, it is as solid as it is pretty. A tough broad so to speak so I know what all your boats are like. One day I was fishing in a dolphin tournament in a 48 foot Whitaker, probably 15 miles out near the Islamorada Hump in 12-15 foot swells, very short choppy swells on a small craft advisory day. Anyway we spotted a frigate and headed over to his area and low and behold there is a board. What we didnt see was a 23 ft SeaCraft CC hidden by the waves as this guy was fighting the tournament winner bull dolphin. I saw them later at the weigh in and discussed "our boats" more then the fish. I should have taken a photo because this was one of the ugliest days I have ever seen in 25 years of lunatic fishing....Mark

Re: Comment on your SeaCraft
I remember attending the New York boat show each year as a little boy in the late 70's. 2 boats stick out in my mind. The first was a 20 ft Robalo. I seemed like such a monster compared to the 16' aluminum boat my family fished in. The boat had great lines, a solid build and was the only one with a rope insert rub rail. The 2nd boat and of course the best was a 1977 SeaCraft center console. It was one of the most crowded booths next to Black Fin and Bertie. I marveled at the Big Evenruide on the transom flanked by a 25hp kicker. The huge master console was bigger than any other boat on the market and was years ahead of itself posessing gobs of storage inside. The fishing package included the livewell, outriggers a cb radio and a huge paper graph. The boat was topped off with arrest me red paint for a truely sinister bad ass fishing killing machine look. Well, the first CC I bought was the 20' Robalo. You can guess what boat I own now. Now, if I could only find the pictures I took of that boat 24 years ago.......
