Default seacraft 25 cuddy

I have recently purchased a 1971 25' seacraft seafari cuddy with an I/O and I am in the process of repowering with a 454 cu in. How much speed and fuel consumption should I expect as it holds approx 110 gallons of fuel and the fishing grounds are approx 25 miles from where the boat is kept. Any response would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the board Ken. She should get up an fly with the big block. What kind of outdrive do you have??? Not sure exactly what your fuel consumption will be but with the outdrive it shouldnt be too bad. There are several center console 23' i/o's in my area and she will squat a little extra in the stern (if you keep her in the water you will have to keep a close eye on her initially). I believe you will be very happy with her. Please send pix to site so we can have a peek!!! Craig
