Hey Nick...brand new water seperators, put the fuel in the a clear bottle and gas looks good with minimal water and sediment. The water is getting in through the cowling, from below because all of the weight in the stern. This is then getting into the carb, but it would make sense that rather than quitting the engine would just sputter rather than quit. Found a short in the wire harness(inside a perfectly covered wire) this weekend, could be the real problem. Will run it out as soon as possible and know for sure.
