Default Gunwale fix

Has anyone had any problems with the gunwale cap flexing in the cockpit??? You can see mine flex when:
1. Someone sits on the gunwale
2. You can grab under it and lift it has movement
3. Flex’s when you step on it
I was planning on giving it some extra support when I replace the rod racks in the cockpit.....These, the racks, look to be the only support for this area (nothing else in my boat supports this from the transom to mid-ship, where the two vertical races come down from the underside of the gunwale, for the fuel fill line)

(Billybob it looks like you took your rod racks out altogether are you having any issues with this?)

Was also thinking of epoxying some planks underneath to try to stiffen this area up.

Anyone suffering from this and any fixes out there??

Scott
