Default 23' Superfish in MA...

Looks halfway decent for that price. While the page says sale pending, it was just listed on BoatTrader today, so that deal probably fell through.

They're calling it a Super Fisherman when it's really a Sceptre. Says it does 25kts WOT with a pair of 150's? Something's wrong there. Plus, I've never seen black Suzuki's before (see full specs for make).

That listing is totally wrong. I have a hard time believing that boat going $9600. That arch alone is worth 2k used. I think those are OMC's on it, no Suzuki I've ever seen. I don't know where Newburyport is? I have a cousin in MA I'll put him on it.

Newburyport is as far north in Mass you can go on the coast before hitting New Hampshire.

I just passed on the ad...I don't pay attention if its not a CC.

So its either really good or really bad: either they don't know what they got and underpriced it, or they're passing off a sow's ear as a purse.

Gents-

Newburyport is located on the Merrimac River in Northern Mass. I work in the area on Saturday's and keep my 23' Mako at a marina in there.

I am not familiar with that Seacraft or the current owner. Just be careful when dealing with the broker at American Marine. Also, if you need to have a boat surveyed in that area...Give Rob Scanlan a call (www.mastermarinesurveyor.com), he is one of the best surveyors in New England and will give it to you straight.

My cousin just checked this one out. Said it's in pretty nice shape but does have old suzuki's on it. Said the owner looked like a gadgit and detail freek.
