Bill

First of all nice job on the restore...came out beautiful..

Second .... I was looking closely.....really close... and it looks like you have hawse pipes and cleats for the springs.....How did you mount those cleats to the vertical races and were you able to put in backing plates???? Did you have the cap off that hull when you did all the work??

Scott

scott Hey, glad you like the boat. It has been great. We cut small round access hatches on the races and put backing plates on from there.

Bill
Thank you for the response!!

I have been debating whether or not to put in pop-ups or pipes and cleats for awhile......still dont know what I'm going to do....I do like the pipe/cleat route … but I've got a little time to think about it.
Thanks again

Bill, I'm the guy who sold you that boat. What a beautiful job restoring it. I've wished a thousand times I would have kept that boat and made the mods myself. Not interested in selling it back at a substantial profit are you? Again, you did a great job! By the way, how is the newest addition to your family, I remember your wife was due the same day you bought the boat. Hope your enjoying the boat and if you ever want to get rid of it call me.

floridafisher , great to here from you. I thought that you were moving out west. The boat turned out great and we are in the middle of tarpon season here in Georgia. Sorry for the delay on a reply. My son Walker is a year and a half old now.I got the boat and my son about two hours apart, by far the best day of my life. Keep in touch- Bill
