Need some input on battery system. I have twin motors. I want to run my electronics on a deep cycle, and have a starting battery for each engine. Can both engines be hooked to one battery? Will the motors overcharge the battery? Is it better to have one starting battery per motor, and then a deep cycle on a perko switch for electronics on onr of the motors? Also, any suggestions on batteries? Thanks in advance.

Hi capt D
I don't have much advise on this one but I think you need TWO (2) Battery Switches as well as a Battery ISOLATOR or you could boil a battery because most OB's don't have a proper regulator.
