Default New SeaCraft

For your information, I went to the West Palm Beach Boat Show opening day yesterday here in Florida. The show is increasing in size each year and many manufactures are displaying much more of their wares, new boat lines, more models to choose from and so on

With this thought in mind, We have all been reading posts about the new SeaCrafts recently and their recent plant move to NC, Capt Foster's 25' problems, quality, prices etc etc. I was deeply saddened to see that SeaCraft had only ONE boat on display! (unless there were others out in the water somewhere that I missed and if so, I apologize to Tracker) But the one I saw, that's right, just one, a 20' that looked like Sheeet! No top, no electronics, nothing but standard equipment. The fit and finish was deplorable! For instance, the black rub rail against the blue hull did not line up properly so they filled in the gap with WHITE caulk! The boat was sitting among Tracker bass boats and they had one silly salesman in shorts! No broachers to be found.

I just bowed and shook my head and walked away. It's a shame

I wonder how Mr. Potter must feel deep inside when he hears and sees such ruins of a fine tradition making the swirling motion down the toilet!
