Default T top on 20' CC

Thinking of putting a T Top on my 20 CC...Just wondering opinions. Worried it may take up to much room around the Center Console.

Also, does anyone know of a good place that makes T Tops in the NC area.

I'll be fishing in your neck of the woods [Harkers] in early November for false albacore. Will you be there in your SC?

Sadly, when I kept both my SeaCrafts at Harkers and asked around in the Harkers/Beaufort/Morehead area, all the top makers were considerably less-than-helpful when it came to deviating from their standard 5x7' top. They were happy to put the legs anywhere I wanted but I didn't find any that were willing to do truly custom work. You might give Custom Marine in New Bern or Coastal Marine in Straits a call, maybe one of them would bend the local rules a bit these days.

I finally brought my 20' to Florida to have redone and ended up getting a 3'x5' top that works out quite well - the top is no wider than the console, so unless you find your console is in the way, my t-top wouldn't be either. I think it's one of those issues where you are either comfortable with a t-top or you are not. I spend a lot of time in the sun for both my work as well as my recreation and neither is helpful with my skin cancer situation. As such, I do the sunscreen-long sleeves-t-top thing for more than just fashion reasons

oh yeah I'll be back home in Novemeber as much as possible either running albacore or hunting speckled trout on the rock jetty at the Cape.
