Default Cutting 23 CC Floor Out

I have noticed that several restorations have left the front storage bin (the one between the console and casting deck) in place and and removed the floor around it. Where were the cuts made? Were the cuts about an inch or so to the side of the bin's lid in the deck's floor? Also where were the cuts made near the casting deck? Same width as those along the hull sides? I could not determine the cut lines from the pictures so any insight would be helpful.

FellowShip,

So your plan was to cut 1 inch all the way around? Even along the access hatch edge? Is the first picture of the wood that was exposed when the top skin was removed? And the second picture the new core material? What core material did you use? Also it looks like you did not remove the skin around the rear scupper area but did it later. Was that to accomodate your new floor design around the splashwell area or did you find additional issues with the floor in that area?
