left over new seacrafts for sale

Im seeking to understand how come so many dealers put mercs and evenrudes on these new boats.There are a ton of left overs on the market as far back as 2004 for what seems to be great prices but none with yamahas.Im sure all these moters are great but it appears they dont sell as well as a seacraft with a yamaha.Im sure this boils down to dollars and seacraft really could care less what ther dealers put on them but you dont see any left over seacrafts with yamahas.Thanks Keith
