Default Gel-Coat

Does anyone know the best nozzle size to spray gel-coat using a hvlp spraying system?

Check the re-gelcoating page at this site

Seems like a 2.0mm or a 2.2mm can be used.....
I think Awlgrip uses a 1.8mm.....I just ordered the 1.7 and 2.0 kits for my porter cable hvlp gun

I sprayed my hull from a pressure pot with Gelcoat, bit not a HVLP and I can find the tip size if needed. Just make sure you have the gun empty and cleaned before it kicks.

DT - I bought two 3 gallon pressure pots from surplus/old equipment store on campus. I've never used these before, but I hear they are the way to go if you're spraying gelcoat. Did you mix in any clear duratec when you sprayed your hull?
