Default Repower...76 evinrude to 97yamaha 115's ???

I have a76 18 footer with a 76 115 evinrude. It's a little hard on fuel and doesn't like salmon trolling speeds unless the motor is tilted up about 15 degrees. I'm looking at a 97 yamaha 115 saltwater series. Has any one had any experience with this kind of repower in performance, fuel, and instalation problems??? ............

The Yamaha 115 will do the job as well as the Evinrude 115. I have the bored out 115-the 130 Yamaha. Very good motors for fuel usage with carbs. You be at the same speeds as the other motor.
