Default How to remove fuel tank from a sf20?

I have my boat apart and want to check the 75Gal fuel tank in my sf20. It appears the opening is about 1 inch too narrow to lift the tank out. (Why would someone design such a thing?). Is foamed in and solid. Anyway, suggestions are welcome.

You have to dig out all the foam, slide the tank backwards and angle it out.
