Hello everyone, I am Scott Cambra, some of you might know me from a couple other classic/fishing forums. For those of you who do not, I make instrumentation, especially for older boats being refit. Over the last few years I have made hundreds of panels for the Mako, Grady, SeaRay , Welcraft and even a few seacraft panels. Now, it seems I am getting phone calls from members of this site...Thanks!
If any of you are contemplating a new console or hatches, doors. Give me a shout, if I cannot help you , I am sure I know of someone who can. Also it turns out that Seacraft themselves are recommending thier classic boat owners to me for this type of work. That is really really nice, I appreciate that and am humbled to think they would send thier customers to me ![]() I cannot wait to get to know you all, this place seems like a warm friendly place to learn about the Seacraft and it's Patrons. Thanks again Scott Cambra Vector Imaging www.vectorled.com |

Welcome to CSC, Scott. Nice talking with you yesterday.
I would like to personally vouch for Scott's work. He made a pair of custom "Mako 254 - Wilco Marine Edition" emblems for me that I gave as gift to a friend. They were better than factory originals. He has also done a ton of custom electrical and dash panels for other guys and his work is first rate. -Ed- |

Scott,
I have seen your work on ther sites and have been impressed. I will be in contact with you sometime over the next couple of weeks. About how long does it take you to produce a small panel with about 8 switches completely wired and with the LED backlight? I'm...just trying to plan out a timeline of when things will be completed. -Andrew |

I met with Scott yesterday at his headquarters down the street from me in Fall River Mass. What was supposed to be a 2min drop off of a panel I am having fab'd by Scott turned into almost a hour of great conversation.
Scott's work is impeccable, I have no issue at all recommending his work to anyone he is alos a very passionate about his work, I might even say about as passionate as Capt Chuck is about his Gucci boat parts. Scott thanks for joining and look fwd to seeing you again in the future tx J |

Now, with Marine stuff, I am VERY VERY picky about how they are wired, I have automotive stuff too and that is done by my wife or another helper I have, but marine stuff is off limits to anyone but myself, Why? not because the others cannot handle it, but because if my hands did not test every single crimp, if I didn't shrink every piece of tube myself, I will not be able to sleep. You can run from a burning car...we all know what could happen if your boat goes up, I have you and your friends and family in my hands...so I do not want to have to second guess anything. so seeing I am the only guy wiring marine panels, it takes some time, usually a few weeks to get to a panel. If I am not wiring it,then much faster, usually a week and a half from today. J, thanks for the kind words, dude, we could have talked all day haha. that's bad ![]() Besides the Panels ay saw my LED lights....in the not too distant future everyone will be able to afford serious LED lighting for every application. Thanks again J ![]() |
