Thanks, just curious, did you use 1/4 inch plexi and how did you bend it?

I made a nice one out of 1/4 plexi but it broke when I was drilling out the mounting holes,I then made one out of 1/4 lexan and the material was much more forgiving and was easier to heat and bend.Leaxan is slightly more expensive but is well worth it

On heating and bending, Once curve or bend is made use wet towels to "set" less holding time.
plexi and lexan both use a special drill bit to help cracking or breaking.

Also once the holes are drilled use debur tool on holes.

I j ust got a quote of $145-175 from UPD Plastics (updplastics.com)for my 78 20' MA. They did not have the pattern in stock (they do have some SeaCraft patterns) so I will need to send in detailed measurements or my old screen. I will do the latter since I have my old one in pieces. I will let all know how they turn out.

OBTW, I just oriced Lexan and plexi...prices have almost dooubled due to oil prices. The price above beats what I canmake it for withe scrap etc.
