Default fuel pickup

dose any one no if my 86 20sf has a screen on the pickup
before i start ripping things apart ball is sucking flat

Have you checked the vent for any restrictions ??

i replaced a gas tank out of a 20' 1984 seacraft and there was a screen inside of the pickup. considering how close the years are i would guess that yours may have one as well.

You could blow back through it as well, although that won't completely solve the issue but will open it up maybe.

well there is a screen in the pick up tube are should i say there was a screen it was nasty there are 2 pickup tubes on mine both had a screen in the tube got rid of those pesky little buggers should solve problem
