Re: 79 Sceptre custom pilothouse (my winter project)
thats pretty sick looking pilot house. I see you have a pot hauler; do you have a lobster license or seabass traps? that will be a pretty sweet ride when its done.

Re: 79 Sceptre custom pilothouse (my winter project)
I saw a guy with a similar set up off Gay Head last summer during the comm. bass season. His wasn't nearly as clean as yours though.
A very versatile boat. Great job! Cheers, Bob |

Re: 79 Sceptre custom pilothouse (my winter project)
Thanks for feedback, I have a Mass area 2 lobster i just picked up last year. I also have a scup and conch pot permit. And it doesn't look like i will be getting a seabass pot license any time soon after this project. I'm broke as a joke.

Re: 79 Sceptre custom pilothouse (my winter project)
Nice Job on the Pilot House, My boat is at my local glass shop getting a built in Livewell and new Engine and Driveshaft cover Installed(All Composite) . They just ordered me a new front window for my pilot house. Mention Andy, from Cape Island Boats in Orleans Mass gave you the recommendation and maybe they will give you a discount. Andy Builds Duffy's and uses a lot of their windows. I ordered the Clear Anodized with green tint for the front per their recommendation. I opted for their fixed window over my original Shamrock window which always leaked and I never opened it anyway.
I belive they are about 1/2 the price of the Diamond Seaglaze, but I am not 100% sure. http://www.wynneinc.com/Order_Inform...formation.html Good Luck, Dan
