How Many Holes Did You Patch?
After a full day of glassing and fairing, I got bored and decided to count how many holes there are in the boat.....I stopped counting after 250
Keep that in mind the next time you drill.

Re: How Many Holes Did You Patch?
Probably around the same as you, approximately 250-300.
I filled 96 in the transom cap(it's an I/O),and at least another 150 in the Gunnells, deck, and dash. What an indignity, this boat suffered. It's unbelievable to me that someone could have no problem hacking up a boat like this.

Re: How Many Holes Did You Patch?
I have been working on my 1976 MA that I bought from Big Shrimpin. Actually I am about finished with what I am going to do. Thank God, Big did all the hard work. Anyway, I plugged 121 holes just on the top of the console, that's not counting holes in the the dash or any vertical surfaces on it. The gunwale caps were another story. I would guess all told, close to 400.

Re: How Many Holes Did You Patch?
Did you all be sure to count the most obvious holes regarding our boats?
The hole in the water, the hole in our head, the hole in our wallet and last but not least, the hole in our heart when we sell these damn things!!!

Re: How Many Holes Did You Patch?
Are you kidding! Only 250! I had over 120 just on my console! Let's not even talk about the gunnels... and I'm not even finished. It is like swiss cheese in some places. I have seen worse than mine though...
