Default 2003 mercury cowling

might be a dumb question but remeber to consider the source. I have a buddy with a cracked cowling and he asked me to repair it. It is a 03 Merc Optimax.....is this plastic or glass? Looking at it, it appears plastic.

I think they are some kind of plastic. I have repaired with poly resin and I assume epoxy would work as well.

thanks for the reply. I have poly, just didn't know if it would stick or not.
It's free, so i guess he can't complain too much.
