Re: Need Advice on Seacraft VIN #
That's one for Capt. Chuck but it looks to me like your boat was built June 79 and was hull 81.
SEC=Seacraft F...? 8=18' 081=hull 81 06=June 79=1979 |

Re: Need Advice on Seacraft VIN #
I'm probably wrong on the hull 81 part because it looks like there were only 52 made in 79...need the experts

SEC = Seacraft Corp F = Superfish Model (marketing ploy term) 8 = 18' 081 = Hull #81 06 = June 79 = 1979 BTW: Don't trust those production numbers listed against Hull ID's

Re: Need Advice on Seacraft VIN #
Sorry about awakening a dead thread but I'm trying to decode my HIN# and want to see if I got it right.
It's SECF3236M74L SEC= seacraft F = sport fish 32= 23 ft. ?? 36 = hull number. ?? 74 = 1974 L = ?????

Re: Need Advice on Seacraft VIN #
I think first 3 represents 23'.
236 would be hull number... I guess M could be March or May or it could be a scratched 11 representing Nov. L? WTF- MICs only use 11 digits to the best of my knowledge... Maybe the L was a Luxury edition built for Dr Gucci himself...

Re: Need Advice on Seacraft VIN #
The number I got was actually on the title. So it is deff a M not an 11. Don't know. Like I said I was just curious.
