Gathering materials = 1 beer
Taping the waterline before starting on hull: Two sides+ one transom = 3 beers

Gathering materials = 1 beer

Prepping the hull: Sanding two sides X six planing surfaces = 12 beers., Sanding the six vertical chines (including hull sides) = 6 beers.

Priming: One coat X six planing surfaces + six vertical chines + one transom = 13 beers.

Painting: four coats X six planing surfaces + six vertical chines + one transom = 52 beers

Painting spots where boat supports have been = 2 beers

Admiring/bemoaning your handi-work between coats and when finished = 18 beers.

TOTAL BEER REQUIRED: 96 Beers.

Note: each additional qawker and other observers should require the same amount of beer in order to remain in complete sympathy with boat owner and painter.

Todd, I think I'm with Frank on that. Though it might be a little conservative
