I found another overnighter last week. Took some pictures if anyone is interested. Looked pretty nice, obviously the owner takes pride in ownership. BTW located in the water central Palm Beach County.

If that yellow boat is the one you are considering selling i would easily give you 1200ish for it.

FINALLY! I have been looking everywhere for another boat like mine. I bought an Overnighter last spring and thought that I had managed to get into a Heinz 57 when I failed to find any evidence of it anywhere in the SeaCraft world. Do you have any pictures of yours that you are willing to share? Mine has had some heavy modifications over the years, but it is definitely the same boat.

I really don't want to bust any bubbles here but let me put in my two cents worth speaking from experience and because I also own a "Rare" one.

There may only be 3 hulls made and they are rare...but that does not mean that they are worth more...maybe even less(4 door 57 Chevy's are rare...but are they worth more than a 2 door hard top)?

Seacraft has a good following but only with Seacraft admirers. I think if Potter would of kept racing the Seacrafts and winning the Marque would have gone up tremendously etc. Bertram and Old Cigarettes. Even the 21 which has a racing history is hardly a blip on the screen of a boat some one really wants.

If you like the boat keep it...don't keep it because it is rare and you think by holding on you will get more later on.

Dang it Is. Trader,
Screw it then, I'm selling my 21. I'll get some pictures up soon in the other forum section (donation made 9/09) Just not gonna keep throwing good money after bad... Don't even like the boat... got brown trim...only came with one outrigger elbow (next owner will have two thanks to noble Bushwacker) although it did have some serious '60s down riggers...I may keep those (good for bounce-balling halibut and bombing threshers).

It ain't a '57 Bel-air but a Belair don't float...make your best bid - Do I hear 8 thousand??? 7.5K? come on guys, it didn't win a lot of demolition derbies but hey its in decent shape for an original '65 and has a freshly rebuilt MerCruiser type 1-C. Can't touch this... New drive pinion and new yoke assembly, resealed tight as a drum - everything...

My wife's gonna kill me for letting it go so cheap, but its clear I just can't win at boat flipping

In hindsight I wish I had met Fr. Franks tutor or sought advice from Fred...

P.S. 80overnighter, I think you are wise to keep the boat. It is a nugget, alright. Unfortunately you wouldn't likely get what it is really worth. It's a fine boat - probably even has some improvements over the later Seafaris, after all its an evolution. Oh, yeah, how about posting those picture Wee Heavy requested for the rest of us gawkers. Cheers.
