Default GIANT RUMOR

After having re-occuring high speed running issues over almost a year - it has been solved - I will add a MAYBE. After doing chasing and checking it would run OK one week and not the next but would run under 3K great. Then it was fixed Fuel Pressure at RPM - didn't show up at idle at all so changed the Electric Fuel Pump - EFI

Then at Peanut Is ran fine to 2 days then it started again - got bad over 3K - they ran it today and fuel pressure again - found something in a fuel line - he wouldn't tell me what, said he had to show me and then we could both wonder how the hell it got there ?????? will pick it up in the AM

Film at 11

Will be out this weekend after all - anybody else??

Hey Dixon, hope it runs good!!! Had the same issue on my brothers boat, fuel line blockage. It was actually the anti-siphon valve that got some crap stuck in it. Would only run at low speed. Took it off found the blockage, knocked out the spring and ball and it's perfect.

I ran really really fast all day - the item in question was located in the U shaped fuel line running from the bottom of the VST tank to the electric fuel pump. It was a small 3/4" cone shaped fuel filter looking item, that I guess would sit in the bottom of the U then get pushed up against the bottom of the pump with increassed fuel flow.

The mystery is its not called for anywhere - there is not supposed to be a filter at the bottom of my VST, they had the VST apart checking it on the pump swap - he can't figure out how he even found it. I had taken that line off earlier checking for trash and/or water in the VST on my E-10 switch over. Didn't pull the other end off or I might have found it, the screen part was completely covered with black stuff I presume was off the inside of the fuel line as it rattled around.

But it sure was nice to have it over after a year.

Sounds good Dixon. I know that thing has been driving you crazy..........with all that extra time your gonna have with no more hunting ghosts, you may need to head to the Keys. Just think, going from motor issue insanity to mini season insanity!
